The Work of TEN – feeding hungry children

We work with over 70 partners across 15 European countries to bring hope through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe this passion reflects God’s love for the continent of Europe, gets involved and changes what it touches.

  • Did you know there are more evangelical Christians in Brazil than the whole of Europe?
  • Europe has the lowest proportion of evangelical Christians of any continent—2.5% (Operation World)
  • Countries like Moldova have a GDP per capita more like some African nations, and an economy just 5% that of the UK
  • Some people groups, like the Roma, are often treated with utter disrespect
  • Human trafficking has increased by 50% between 2008 and 2010 (Eurostat)
  • To partner with local Christians who speak the language, know the culture and stay for the long term
  • Engage in church-based, holistic mission—evangelism, church planting, social action, humanitarian aid and education

  • To encourage church partnerships and short-term mission trips

  • Always serving the needs of the local church and being guided by our national partners rather than prescribing methodology from afar

  • Ensuring that at least 85p in every £1 donated is spent on transforming lives in Europe

  • Constant monitoring to ensure TEN support creates empowerment rather than dependency

  • The work is founded on the pioneering mission of Eurovangelism since 1965

  • Currently operating in 15 countries with more than 50 church partners and projects

  • Over 5,000 individuals and churches in the UK support the work of TEN across Europe

  • Each year, thousands of people receive food parcels, compassionate care, education, and many respond to the good news of Jesus Christ

  • Helping enterpreneurs in Eastern Europe to set up businesses through Business as Mission (BAM).

  • Many of our national partners are planting new churches in completely unreached towns and villages

  • A lot of transformation we don’t know about, but hope to hear about in heaven one day!

  • Each year, thousands of people receive food parcels, compassionate care, education, and many respond to the good news of Jesus Christ
