When their church re-planted in the city of Constanta, Traian and Elena, along with their two children, felt called to go. Today, Biserica Buna Vestire (Good News Church) is flourishing under Traian’s leadership. Looking to the future, Traian and Elena are seeking God’s discernment about expanding the BBV ministry towards people living in metal containers. Traian has always been involved with overseeing church-planting in the Constanta region. He is currently working with a group of church leaders on ‘Project Constanta 2022’, in which they hope to plant 50 churches in the towns and villages that currently have nothing.
Romania is a country that has been torn apart and quickly restrung with numerous dictators and communist rulers, leaving Romania with nothing but poverty and loss. Communism in Romania collapsed in 1989 bringing back religious freedom. Today that freedom is minimal under the Orthodox Church.
Traian and Elena majorly lack financially support in their area! Regardless, they have carried on working in faith, visiting and building relationships within the community.
