The story behind each of our Moldova church planters is not always as joyful as the results they prayerfully hope to achieve. For most pastors, many of their friends and family have sought a life abroad in the hope of a wider horizon. However, the pastors have faithfully stayed in their villages and dedicated what little they have to serving their local community and teaching them the love of Christ. Often their church is the only one in their village; most villages are over 90% unemployed and the lack of income that surrounds them is why they desperately need TEN’s support.
Being a pastor in this climate means spending enormous amounts of time talking with people, becoming their confidant, praying with people and often trying to provide aid with the little resources they have. Pastors spend time reaching out through evangelism courses like alpha and various other means and each individual Moldovan supported through TEN runs their own church.
Prayer Points[list type=”icon-plus”]
- For their perseverance in an extremely tough and fragile mission field.
- For their resources to be spent wisely and to last.
- For the communities to be interested in more than humanitarian aid but to get to the heart of the message being shared with them.
Some of our Moldovan partners are being financially supported but many are still in desperate need. If you would like to support a Moldovan church planter or would like some more information then please do so here.[space height=”20px”][/one_half_last]
