But who am I and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from You, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. 1 Chronicles 29:14

“We had such rich Christmases. In December, we were able to bring smiles to thousands of children with OCC shoe boxes in Obrenovac. We have never experienced such joy! Kids that lost everything in the floods were absolutely delighted to hold the gift, and take it to their empty homes. Many of them we met before, watched them play with items we brought as aid like sugar, pasta, flour….floods stripped their homes and left disaster.

We spent the Orthodox Christmas in Obrenovac with our team. We had time to reflect, pray, praise and share the meal. We drove back home praising God for what He did in this hopeless town and situation in such a short time. Our men, ex drug addicts and two ladies have visited and helped hundreds of families. They had the privilege of sharing the Gospel with many.

Praise God that we are going to have our first gathering with those that want to come to our first house group. We are planning to have it on the 31st of January. This is huge! City with not one evangelical believer or a church is opening the door to the Light! All because of Jesus! We will meet at the home we rent for the team, and we are all very excited. Please pray for this new start. May the revival begin!

We shared with you the story about Veljko, young man that was drug addict and came to the Lord while in our rehab. He now leads the team in Obrenovac, is originally from that city. Many there remember how he was and cannot believe the change. After many years of no contact with the family, he was by miracle reunited with his dad and the sister. She is very near to open her heart to Christ. I had the privilege to talk to her about the Lord and saw great hunger for Him. She reads the New Testament and has many questions. She wants to come to the house group. However, there was no contact with Veljko and his mom. She declared few years ago that she no longer has a son and she told him that he no longer has the mother. Such deep were the hurts, such was the damage due to heroin addiction. But, miracles do happen! He is not only reconciled to his dad and sister, but to his mom too! A few weeks ago they met, and after much prayer it went very well. She now comes regularly to visit, reads the Bible, takes it to work, she gave 4 new testaments away and needs more! She too will join us for Bible study. We had coffee with her as she came to spend part of the Christmas day with her son, team and us. Wow, hope you are excited and totally blown away by what God can do. “I have forgiven my son”, she said! “I hope God can forgive me!”

This is what we want to invest our lives into this year. Invest into people and eternal. Everything else will disappear like mist … Thank you for being part of every story and changed life that we witness.”
