As young Christians from several countries across Europe gathered for Impact Skopje July 4-10 many people were reached with the Gospel, during this major city wide week of outreach.

TEN partner Dragan Manev and his wife Biljana, who were responsible for a team of Macedonian youth staying in the main Evangelical church in Skopje, gave us this report on the week.

“During the first three days we prepared for our outreach with times of prayer, sermons and workshops. We started with outreach on the Thursday. Our team was in a Muslim area in Skopje where there were no Christian believers. It was a dangerous area but it was well worth it, because we wanted to reach that area for Christ.

“It was a difficult atmosphere but we started with much prayer. Later I had the privilege to lead one homeless woman from a Muslim background to Christ. She was on the streets with her three kids begging for money. Somebody from our team bought her food and milk for her family. During that time I shared with her the Good News of Christ and she repented and received Christ as her Lord and Saviour.  After that she said that her right leg is in pain and she was in that condition for two days. We prayed for her and God healed her. She testified to us that her leg is very good and there was no pain. Praise God.

“The following day as we continued to pray and went back to this Muslim area the atmosphere has changed. Praise God. In that day we felt that there was break through. We gave away a lot of Christian literature and shared the good news with a lot of people. We had opportunity to pray for people on the streets of Skopje and invite them to the main event on Saturday evening in the Metropolis arena. We had excellent responses and a lot of people said that they would come to the main event.

“On the Saturday night during the main event the main speaker was Fillip Ivanov, from our church in Veles. He is my associate pastor and I am very glad that I have him in the church. He shared an excellent message of hope to a lot of people. There was also a great worship.”

“We thank God for team work and serving together for one goal: To reach unbelievers for Christ and to impact on Skopje.”

Please continue to pray for all those who responded to the Gospel during this significant week of outreach.
